in setting up a shared folder when it asks for the user name and domain what is it asking for?

When setting up a scan to folder, the printer requires credentials in order to save the file on the computer. In a home or small office that does not have a domain controller then you would use the following: 

 

Domain- name of computer you are scanning to

Username- the name you use to log in to this computer

Password- password you use to log in to this computer
