Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

problem seems yet to be unsolved, doe not recognize duplex mechanism, says I have to flip paper over and hand feed.

Print the configuration page from the control panel and confirm that under installed options it shows that you have a duplex unit.  If it does, then it is possible that your driver installed without detecting the duplex. On your PC go to control panel> devices and printers and then right click on the icon for your printer and select "printer properties" from the drop down menu. Click on the device settings tab and scroll down to find the duplex installed and set to installed.
