Hi,

I am receiving repeated error of 49.FF09 on this printer... remove the RJ45 and disconnect the power after a few minutes reconnect the power comes up then I reconnect RJ45... if I have RJ45 connected and connect it to power it boots up again with the same error of 49.FF09.  but after it was powered up without RJ45 and then I connect the RJ45... it works with no problem at least for a few hours then it goes down with 49.FF09....  What could be wrong???

Regards,

Jeff Paarsa

This is a older printer. First thing I would do is update the firmware to the latest version. If that does not work, I would then change the ip address of the printer and just let is stay at the new address without any computers printing to it to see if the same error comes back. If the error does not come back that would indicate that maybe one of the computers on the network is sending a job to the printer which is causing the issue.
