Asmita,

Thanks a lot.

It worked.

Just a little thing. I've pressed "go" & "Cancel" button, then I pressed and released "power on" while maintaining "go" & "Cancel" button. After few seconds ONLY "power on" BLINKED. I released "Go" & "Cancel" button and the printer was reset.

Bye

Hi @Asmita6658,

I have the same problem than Paolo69.  I tried to change ID and password in EWS, but since this attempt I can no longer loggin as an admin to change some printer settings. I tried all combinations of old ID (admin) and new ID and of known passwords (including empty field), but nothing works. I get always the same error message; wrong ID or password. Maybe this error was caused by a wrong character (German 'ß') in the 'location' field during password setting???

Can you send me also a message how to reset my new printer Color Laser 150nw (product ID 4ZB95A, Ser.Nr. CNB3N321W7). By the way - i am  German and I bought the printer in Germany, my printer has no "Go"-button; buttons are  'Wireless', 'Resume', 'Cancel' and 'Power'. Network printing (via cable, not Wi-Fi) works fine, and I can access the printer's EWS

as a standard user, not as admin.

Thanks!

@DerHarzer, Welcome to HP Support Community!

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps!
