I just purchased a brand new hp color laser jet pro mfp 3301sdw. If connected to my internet and added to my lap top. It will not print with wi-fi it keeps say error and says attention required with code 55.60.00

That is a error code on the DC controller. If brand new I would just return and exchange for a new one.

So that is a major problem that is unfixable by me?

Well you might be able to update the firmware and resolve the error, it not, how much trouble shooting time are you willing to invest in a brand new product?

One note, you are plugged directly into the wall and not into any type of UPS, surge protector or extension cord? Any of these can trigger DC controller errors.
