I had to recently change network settings and in doing so permanently disconnected my printer from the network, I do not have a copy of my password and have tried all my commonly used passwords and to no avail. Is there a process that can reset this password from outside the software as I can't access the system tab without this password

this solution does not work for me. It just restarts the printer  (unplug, hold cancel button plug back in re-install software)

If your printer only has one button on top the reset would be to hold that button down for 50 seconds, time it because you do not want to hold it down for 60 seconds.
