can't seem to find the print cleaning info on the printer..it says Setup then ?? then ??? can't find the cleaning area anywhere.
I have horizontal lines of different colors on printed pages. I have removed the cartridges and replaced the magenta as if I choose to print in greyscale there is was a lot of magenta all over the right edge of the paper. So I replaced that cartridge. There is 60% left on the others so really did not have to replace the magenta as that one also had 60%.
This printer was new May 2017 and has worked wonderfully well until this started. Just all of a sudden.
thanks for any help.

Hi @JackiDance
Are you using genuine HP toner cartridges?
Try these steps -
1) Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent.
3) With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Wait for 60 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.
5) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
Download and install the firmware update from this link.
Print a cleaning page using these steps -
1) From the Home screen on the printer control panel, touch Setup ().
2) Touch Service, and then touch Cleaning Page.
3) Load plain, white paper when you are prompted.
4) Touch OK to begin the cleaning process.
5) Try to print again to see if the issue is resolved
If the issue still persists, refer to this document for further steps.
