how can I connect my LaserJet M608 to WIFI network

Hello, wonderful people at HP ! Our company bought a LaserJet M608 couple of months ago and have been using it primariy through USB cable (it works fine by USB). Now we have WIFI set up and want to connect it to wifi, but have a really hard time doing it .

We have read through the manual but all it shows is Direct WIFI and Mobile printing, which is not what we want. We just want it to connect to our wifi so that everyone in our office can access it from their desktop computers.

We have set up other printers through wireless setup wizard, but it is nowhere to be found on M608's menu.

Could someone please let us know how to do it on M608? Much appreciated!

Have you installed the optional wireless card????

Wireless Capability Optional,

Enabled with purchase of HP Jetdirect 2900nw Print Server J8031A or HP Jetdirect 3000w NFC/Wireless Accessory J8030A

If not download the information from the web.

Thanks for you reply! Honestly I don't know if the wireless card is installed or not. Is there a way for me to find out? Thank you! (the person made the purchase has left the company so I can't reach out to him to find the details of this purchase)

Yes. You simply go to the HP web site and download and read the User Guide and all other material to find what you need.

The M608 offer optional wireless capabitlies which are not included by default, to get wireless capabiltieies the HP Jetdirect 2900nw PrintServer must be purchased sepertely, it is not included with the printer..
