This is usually a setting problem at the printer or at the computer. If you can open the tray 2 and then close and the menu will ask you to confirm the paper settings, usually letter and plain or letter and any. If you can change the setting to any it would be better. At the computer you have to make sure you are sending letter size paper job to the printer if that is the size in tray 2. A tip is the menu usually says load " " in tray 1 and if you press the go button it either says use " " in tray 2 or just prints. The size and type it ask for tray 1 is what the computer is sending and that does not match what the tray is set for.
