Honestly, I can't understand why you didn't put an illuminated display on the printer. It's quite impossible to see anything on it.

I hope you'll change this design choice in future...

By the way. From the settings it's impossible to choose the network at which I would like to connect, unless using WPS. For people that don't use it, HP software is mandatory.

With HP software is possible to choose between:

- connect with cable (Rejected, since I want to connect with Wireless)

- connect searching the printer in the network (rejected: I want to connect this printer to a new network, since the one at which the printer was connected doesn't exist anymore)

- connect for the first time the printer to a network

I choose the latter. Software asks to connect with cable, and after 2 or 3 minuter it says that an error occurred. No more informations about it... What could I do?

Thank you in advance.

Welcome to HP Support Community

I suggest you reset the printer back to factory settings

1. From the product control panel, press the Setup button.

2. Open the Service menu.

3. Select the Restore Defaults option, and then touch the OK button. The product automatically restarts.

Then use the HP Software to connect the printer back to your new wireless network. Please connect the USB cable only when prompted during installation

Let me know how it goes

Thank you and have a wonderful day 😊
