This toner level is derived from information stored on the chip on the cartridge. That information cannot be reset. When you buy a new cartridge it will start reading full again. If you have purchased a 3rd party toner and you are having this problem it is because your dealer cheaped out and did not replace the toner chip on the cartridge.
