LaserJet cm1415fnw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My model : hp cm1415fnw

Issue: touchscreen calibration.

The touchscreen calibration will not work. It has shifted to the right.

For example if I push on the letter "a" , it will select the letter "b"

I cannot press far enough the the left of the screen to even select the letter "a" to compensate for the bad calibration.

Is there any utility to run in order to fix the calibration of the screen?

There used to be for older models(like the HP Laserjet Pro 400 color MFP m475dw and 500 models)  but did HP take this utility and ability away in order to force people to buy new printers?

If so, I will need to throw this model away and not buy another HP.

@BrianJabber

Good Day. A warm welcome to the HP community. I reviewed the case regarding issues with the printer. I will be delighted to assist you here.

follow these steps to reset the printer.

Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Wait at least 60 seconds.

Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

   NOTE:

HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.

Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.

Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Keep me posted. 🙂
