Hi @rae_seay,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community! I came across your post and wanted to assist you. I understand you are having issues setting the paper layout on your HP LaserJet printer. Don't worry we'll work together to find a solution for you.

I see that you are having issues while setting up the page order on your Officejet 4630 printer. Going through your post, it looks like an issue with the drivers that are installed on your PC. Try the steps below:

  • First, unplug the USB cable from the printer if present.
  • Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP Officejet printer entries and uninstall them.
  • Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
  • Press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" (There is a space between .exe & /) and press enter.
  • Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
  • Again, go to the Run window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Now click  http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/LES/M177/Color_LJPro_MFP_M177_full-solution_16259.exe  to download and install the full feature driver software.
  • Connect the USB cable if prompted and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Let's try changing the printing preferences of your printer as suggested below:

Go to control panel - Devices and printers

Right-click on your HP LaserJet and choose the "Printing preferences" option.

Now, go to paper quality / layout tab and make sure the paper type is selected as "Photo paper".

Also, select the correct paper size and save the settings.

I hope this helps. Let me know how it goes for further assistance.

To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles.

Take care.
