iOS 12 - 12.0.1

Hello. I have a very frustrating issue with my LaserJet M127nfw MFP printer. It works just fine with my Windows computer, my Android phone, and my own MacBook, but my wife's two iOS devices not so much. When she prints from either her iPhone or her iPad, it prints duplicate copies of each print document, page, etc. Every time. Usually 3 copies. I've been trying to figure this out for months, on and off when I have time. I talked to Apple support but it sounds like it's for sure a HP issue. I searched on the forum board here and found people complaining of the same issue in the past. The solution was listed as updating the firmware but how would I do that for iOS? It works fine on the Windows and OSX devices though. Perhaps important side note: This device is a 2013 printer and has the ePrint compatible sticker but I can't seem to find the option to update the firmware right from the printer. I go under settings and HP Web Services but the only option listed is Print Info Sheet. No options for updating as described online here. Can anyone help me?

Hi,

You should update the firmware of the printer, a firmware is the internal "software" within the printer itself.

Although you upgrade a such from Windows, the latest printer updates apply for any device used to print, including the iOS.

From your Windows PC download and use below utility to update the printer firmware:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL32625/bi-95165-10/LJM1130_M1210_FW_Upgrade_Security-201...

Once completing the update try printing from your iOS device and check for any difference.
