Roughly 95% of HP toner cartridges have an internal drum. Listing models that do not have an integrated drum would be easier.
Units with separate drum and toners units include:
CM6040/6015
M880
CLJ 2840
CLJ 9500
The HP Enterprise A3 models based on the Samsung engine.
some of the new retail models as well, but I do not sell or support those, perhaps someone on the retail side can provide a list of those models.
