That means it does not have a valid IP address.

You need to determine the IP address range and some that match that your network is using and set up the printer to work in that range.

If you open a command prompt on your PC and type in ipconfig /all you will get some information that you can then post here and I can help you further.

We need the IP address comma subnet mask, and default gateway.

The connection method is networking through ethernet.

The error message i get is just printing error.

The printer is on as i can change setting and get notifcations when i remove paper.

No clue

Okay the printer has an IP address, you can find the IP address by printing the configuration pages and looking at the jetdirect configuration page which should be the second page.

To Ping the printer you open up a command prompt and type ping space and then the IP address.

When I'm setting up a network printer I have to tell the PC the IP address of the printer. The IP address also must be compatible with my network.

You might want to take a picture of the configuration page for the Jetdirect and post it on the Forum.

The IP Address is 0.0.0.0 for some reason.
