Solved: laserjet m608 use letters on display - HP Support Community

Trying to rename a m608 printer and cannot bring up any letters on display just numbers. Is this printer capable of entering letters on it's panel. If yes who do you bring them up.

Are you referring to the Hostname? If so your best option is to enter the host name through the embedded webserver.
