i use mac os catalina and now my HP office jet pro 6978 don t print, 

i don t find a pilote or what

Hi,
Follow HP Easy Start to install the latest software for your printer:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

Finally, ensure your drivers are up to date by clicking the Apple icon, select About this Mac and then press Software Update.
Click Store on the top menu bar, click Reload Page, click Update All if any updates are available.

 

Be installing the latest software and ensuring your operating system is up to date you should be able to fully use your printer.
