user guide here https://kaas.hpcloud.hp.com/pdf-public/pdf_12613562_en-US-1.pdf makes no mention of memory card slots nor do the specs on the HP Store.
Were you told that it did have a memory card slot or did you assume all photo printer have it? if you were told it does and you just purchased I would return to place of purchase if you are unhappy.
Further looking on the HP website the search feature only allows to search for front USB port, no memory card is listed.
