we have two identical mfp m477fnw printers - one at home & one at office.  in the last week or two, both have stopped printing pictures/large files.  I've attempted straight from .jpg, import pic into .doc, convert .jpg to .pdf, import .jpg into .dwg (AutoCAD) and generate .pdf, etc.  I've opened the .pdf (originally 6+ mb) in an old version of Acrobat in windows and used "reduce file size" function to reduce the file size to 3+ mb.  I've downloaded/reinstalled hp software, I've updated firmware, etc. etc. I've tried ever random trick I can think of.  On both printers, the print process takes sooo long that the printer pauses, and if I click resume, it never completes the printing process. rinse, repeate, nothing. @John_Getzke ideas?

If you are also using the printers to receive faxes, clear saved faxes to ensure that memory is not being taken up by faxes. What revision of firmware do you have installed? Have you tried to use the HP UPD driver instead of the driver in the software install?

thanks for the reply. we ditched fax 10 or so years ago, so no memory loss there, but is there any way to reset memory in case that's an issue.  my first thought was a memory issue, but we only use it for printing.  we use scansnap for scanning so these are only used for printing with exception of a rare copy.  I'm not familiar with the UPD driver - I've always found the current drivers & support for my printer model & operating system in support & used that. firmware datecode is 20190113.  Any thoughts appreciated
