need download compatible HP Laserjet 5L printer windows 10

New HP notebook 17 Windows 10   need to connect to my wonderfully ancient HP laserjet 5L printer.  Can NOT locate a driver to download.  I am 71 yr old  Think I am using the right terms.  Going in circles Hope someone can help me

Hi, I'm using HP 5L too under Windows 7 x64 through a USB-LPT cable and it works fine for a long time.

And it works for Windows 10 too.

I'm using HP 1100's driver now.

You can add new printer and find it on HP menu list there're many of them you can try and it will work.

You can try any one of HP LaserJet 4 4+ 5 5P 6P 5L 6L 1100 1200 2100 2200.........

If there're PCL PCL6 PS drivers you only can use the PCL.
