HP color laser MFP 178nw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This is a brand new printer.  Printed plain paper with no problems.  Put one sheet of heavier paper (65-80#) in the tray on top of the plain paper and it only pulled it in about 2 inches before the paper jam dialogue box popped up on the computer screen.

According to the specs your printer does not support 65 to 85# paper:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06271563#AbT8

Media weight supported (U.S. standard)
16 to 59 lb

You will need to load lighter paper with this model or risk early damage to your rollers.

Thanks!  I did try lighter paper and it worked fine. Appreciate your legwork in finding the specs.
