Hi @MrBhuban,

I see that you're experiencing problems copying on your HP LaserJet Pro M1136 Multifunction Printer. I would be happy to help you and please remember to return to this thread and mark 'Accept as Solution', if I have successfully helped you resolve the issue. If you wish to say 'thanks' for my effort to help, click the 'thumbs up' to give me a Kudos.
It sounds like there could be a print quality problem.
- Are you using Genuine HP Cartridges? How to identify genuine HP cartridges.
- What are the ink levels?
Note: HP recommends that you use genuine HP cartridges. Genuine HP cartridges are designed and tested with HP printers to help you easily produce great results, time after time. HP cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of non-HP supplies. Warranty does not cover product service or repairs required from the use of a non-HP ink or toner supply. HP recommends that you make sure that you are using genuine HP cartridges before you continue.
I would try the steps within this guide to help determine if there is hardware issue.
If you completed all the preceding steps and your product still has an issue, service the product.

Lets see if I can make this a bit simpler. If you go to the tools menu on the printer and print an internal reports, does it print? If yes then the printer is working and we need to resolve the copy issue. Are you using the ADF or laying the piece to be copied on the glass. If using the glass you put the original copy face down, close the cover and press the copy button. If using the ADF (automatic document feeder) you place the original faceup and then press the copy button. If when you did the internal report you got a blank page, then you need to check the status of the toner cartridge. My feeling is it is only happening when you try to make a copy. If you are placing the original document in the correct position depending on which source you are using and still get a black page, then that would indicate and issue with the document scanner and service will be required.
