To be clear, if you load paper in tray 1 and press OK, nothing happens? Does the message change? The reason you are getting this message is likely due to your software asking for prints on paper not matching currently loaded paper in printer. If you normally use plain letter, make sure that the settings for tray 2 are plain letter and not any/any or other setting.

You have a paper tray setting mismatch.
Review the following:
- Printer settings/Defaults on the PC
- Printer settings on the printing application
- Printer tray settings on the printer
The printer is asking you to load a matching piece of paper into one of its trays. Once you provide a matching sheet of paper the printer will continue. Otherwise the printer will continue to prompt you and ask for clarification on what you want it to do.
