printer has a paper jam of a small piece of paper not visible.... help

Told paper jam..paper in input tray askew with right corner crumpled. Pulled the paper with both hands, paper tore off a largeish corner.  pushed print.  corner went in and didnt come out.  No error messages.  Recently changed the ink cartridge.  I'm connected via cable with wifi to my iMac.  Took printer to seller (Staples). no help.  This unit is brand new...bought last year but barely used until recently.  Ink jet cartridge removed was in the unit when bought and original from the store.

Does the printer function right now? I understand that there may be some residue in the printer but if you print a few pages it might work itself out.

Use a piece of card or a plastic film to insert it through the paper path it'll come out.

Remember to insert from the possitive direction not negative. The same as the paper got into the machine.
