my printer keeps showing "printing document" (for the past two weeks now), i could'nt think of any possible solution.

i hav'nt been able to print anything with it due to this problem.

when ever i want to photocopy with it i switch it off an on again, then i quickly photocopy with it (the only thing i could do with it now) then after a few seconds it show "printing document" again continously.

please what could be a possible solution?

Hi JAZZy_BOY,

It seems like your PC's queue is corrupted. I would recommend to delete any pending documents, empty that queue. Disconnect the data cable (either that be the USB or the ethernet cable) from the printer. Power off both printer and computer. Power on printer and then computer.

I hope this will help,

Cheers!

Hi JAZZy_BOY,

Try Printing an internal test report directly from your printer, if that prints fine you might be facing a driver or Print queue related issue and If the Internal Test page also gives you the same problem try resetting your product.

try printing config page (internl page)

if internal pages are printing fine the follow below steps

Go to pc - run - spool - in printer folder delete all docs .

then go to run- type services.msc and stop print spooler

disconnt the from lan/wireless

restart printer , again connect back and then restart the printer spooler .

Hi JAZY_BOy,

You mentioned the printer is connected wirelessly. (May i know which Router /Switch you are using)
Are you Using ARRIS Router ?

Here few steps that you can try in order to isolate the issue.

1. Turn Off the printer.

2. Turn Off the Wireless router /Switch Temporarily

3. Now Turn On the printer Only, (For time being Do not Turn On Router/Switch )

4. Try Making Copy.  (I am assuming  you should be able to Copy successfuly )

5. Try Making a copy again to check If copy is successful or not.

If you are able to Make copy sucessful, then the issue could be more related when printer is connected to Wifi network.

Now Turn on the Wireless router , Once the router is on , Try making a copy to check.

If the printer says Printing and does not copy then, as i mentioned could be more related to your network.

You can try the steps below.

1.  Turn Off Router.

2. On the printer control, go to setup->network ->Trun Off IPV6.

3. Then Assing a Manual IP address to printer.(Either give same IP address)

4. Restart the printer and Turn On the router.

Try Making a copy

Hope this helps.
