Hi @Purushotham_GV.
Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that you are having a problem installing your Laserjet printer. I would like to help.
Unplug the USB connection. Turn the printer off then back on. cancel the installation and reboot your computer.
Try installing the software again. HP LaserJet Pro M1136 Multifunction Printer
Let me know if those steps worked for you. If they did, that’s awesome! Give us some reinforcement by hitting the solution and kudos buttons, that’ll help us and others see that we’ve got the answers!

You don't have to end the installation that you're in the middle of.
Essentially, the device installed itself via Windows with a driver it THOUGHT was correct.
- Open Device Manager.
- Look for the printer in either "Unknown Devices" or "Other Devices."
- Right click the device > Uninstall device.
- Turn off the printer. (Device manager may flicker)
- Unplug the USB cable from the back of the printer (specifically from the printer to ensure the same port gets used on the PC).
- Wait 10 seconds, plug the USB cable back into the printer.
- Turn the printer on.
Within about 10-15 seconds, the drivers will install and the installation will continue through to completion.
