Printer says it is offline, but the Wireless Network Test Report shows that everything passed. I saw on the forum that some cartridges can expire and make the printer show as offline. I can't find any dates on my cartridges. Most are from when I first bought the printer. The black one is newer. They are all running low. I updated the firmware.

Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.
I understand that your Printer keeps showing Offline and I appreciate your expertise in troubleshooting this issue
I'll try my best to help.
I suggest you download and run the Print And Scan Doctor from this Link: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe
-
Run PSDR v5.0.2
-
Once the PSDR detects the Printer, it will show up the IP address and Software Status.
-
Select the correct Printer and click on Next.
-
PSDR will check if the Printer is on the Network and communication between the PC and the Printer. Once the connection check is done, click on Fix Printing
-
Once PSDR goes through all checks and automatic fixes, click on Print a test page.
-
Regardless if PSDR printed the test page or not, click on “NO PRINT”
-
PSDR will then notify you that there is an update available, click on continue, and PSDR will apply the patch and ask for a reboot.
-
Post restart the PSDR will run automatically to check for more issue. If no issue found close PSDR.
-
[IMPORTANT] Delete PSDR v5.0.2 from the customer’s computer before ending the call/interaction. Make sure to delete the downloaded exe, the PSDR shortcut created on the customer’s desktop, and the 7z…. folder for PSDR in the Temp folders of the computer.
Next, Also reset the print environment
-
Turn the printer off, wait about 10 seconds, and then disconnect the printer power cord from the printer.
-
Turn off the computer or device that you are trying to print from.
-
Connect the printer power cord to the printer, and then turn on the printer if it does not automatically power on.
-
If your printer uses a wireless connection, restart the router.
-
Disconnect the power cord from your wireless router.
NOTE: Internet service is interrupted while the router is not in service.
-
Wait 10 seconds, and then reconnect the power cord to the router.
-
Wait for the router’s network activity light to become active.
-
Press the wireless button or wireless control panel icon on the printer to turn the wireless connection off, and then on.
-
Wait for the printer to reconnect to your router.
-
-
Turn on the computer.
-
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
-
Try to print.
Keep me posted how it goes
Thank you 🙂
