After each printing request there is an error message asking to reinstall the printer system with the following submessage:

the repertory "Library/Printers/hp/hpbio/USBGeneric..." (I cannot obtain more info), followed probably by "is missing"

The printer system have be reinstalled, but the problem is permament.

With files .docx, .pptx, j.pg or .png I obtain generally the printing done within few seconds

However with .pdf it takes several minutes to obtain the printing

How could it be solved? Where to obtain the missing repertory?

Hi @geva38

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

As you are able to print all other types of documents fine apart from PDF files, this seems like an application-specific issue.

Are you using Adobe Reader app to print PDF files?

Check for any software updates on MAC

Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest firmware from your MAC.

Check for updates on the Adobe reader app

Click here to know how.

Try printing the PDF file as an image

Refer to this document.

If the issue persists, try reinstalling the Adobe Reader app.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
