You will not find printer service manuals on HP's website but they are out there.
Depending on how stubborn the printer s you might have to use the pre boot menu to do a partial clean.
A word of caution, a full clean will wipe out all the firmware on the printer and it will need to be reloaded. I only do a full clean when I have two different low capacity USB Drive with copies of the firmware on them.

You can even click both buttons. . .

You will also need a USB Drive formatted fat32 preferably one that is less than 2 gig in size.
Put the firmware and nothing else in the root directory of the USB Drive.
Plug the drive in and power cycle the printer and it will hopefully take you to the free food menu, if it does not look at the service manual to find the key combination.

The printer didn't like the first USB Drive I tried but the second worked just fine, so if at first you do not succeed try another drive.

Dear Mr. SHThompson,
I do not see where you have informed anyone on the procedure to do a cold reset on the HPLJ 600 series, in your comments of 02-11-2016 @4:22 PM.
I have the service manual and cannot find a procedure to reset the printer.
My problem is; I need to get pass the Admin Code request, or all the other codes request. I can only print if the printer is connected to the LAN and I need to get into the various functions etc. such as paper sizes etc., and the configuration settings.
I shall be grateful if you could kindly respond to this post soonest. I need to get this printer working.
Thanking you for your kind and early response.
