the printer is leaving a pinkish red stripe down the left side of the paper it is darker and lighter in spots

most likely it is the magenta cartridge leaking.if you hit ok and go to settings/reports/print quality page, it would print out a page that shows specific colors or groups of colors. if it is only in magenta then replace that cartridge.
