I went though suggestions from other posts about the initialization loop issue. My printer was working perfectly fine. I installed the latest printer full software package from the support page. It did the installation and was able to find the printer and do the driver installation. After it installed the driver it automatically started doing a firmware update. I'm assuming this step messed up the printer. I didn't ask it to do a firmware update, but it did anyway. The printer was powered up and wasn't restarted during the update, but afterwards it is just stuck in a initialization loop. I tried the suggestion of holding cancel and copy on boot to initialize the permanent software, but it never got to that. I'm assuming now I need to have the NVRAM reset. Can someone from HP help me with that?
