I can't figure out how to completely disable tray 1. I have been trying to locate my Ip address for my printer so I can go in and change preferences but when I got to the command and  ping printername, it doesn't work. When I go into the printer settings to print the configuration page, it only wants to print from the tray 1- I can't get it to recognize paper in tray 1 so I can't use it because it doesn't have the little adjustable arms. I can't run a cleaning page through because it only wants to use tray 1, I have tried everything I know to do in order to use tray 2 instead.

Is tray 2 set for plain letter.

I made sure the setting is now on plain on tray 2.  I still can't figure out how to run a cleaning page through because it keeps asking for paper in tray 1. I have lines printing on my paper like little hash marks on the right side.
