unable to receive fax

I am able to send a fax out. However the printer shows I am receiving a fax but I have to reboot it to get it to print. How do I fix this problem?

try these few steps:

go into fax settings from printer control panel and reduce faxing speed to medium or slow

turn off ECM (error correction mode) in the fax settings

delete any stored faxes from the printer, sometimes they can cause chaos
