Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

I have M130FW.  from time to tie I would get white screen on panel and would need to unplug the printer and would start worlking again.

Recently, problem has gotten worse.  White screen always on panel.

I removed the drivers, in an attempt to hopefully "force" to recgnize printer, nothing.

Tried to reinstall drivers, cannot locate printer.  tried with USB cable and ethernet cable, still nothing.

your help is needed - jcsw

If the control panel on the printer is unresponding then there is a physical issue on the printer.  Drivers and software updates will not help.

You can try to reseat the control panel and see if a better connection will resolve the printer.  Otherwise you must call it in for warranty support or ask for a quote from a local computer repair shop.  Replacement control panels are usually not expensive or difficult to replace when they are external to the rest of the machine.

You will also want evaluate how you are plugging your printer into its power source.  Remove any power strips or extension cords and try plugging the printer directly into a different wall socket.  see if the problem can reproduce itself if you provide it alternative access to power.

Another clue is the event logs on the machine.  You should be able to look through the Reports area of the control panel and print off a physical Event log.  The event log might have an error code or other information to help isolate what the issue is.
