color laserjet pro mfp m177fw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Have been unsuccessful in completing setup of wifi connection to my laptop.  Even though the dialog box recognizes the configuration etc. of the connected access point, and the printer is already working over the wifi, the search process fails.  Have tried manually configuring as well as letting the software identify.

Also have the printer connected to a W7pro laptop, which took several attempts but did eventually 'marry'.

System says I have the latest software on the CD supplied.

I was able to connect by using the 'search network' option rather than the 'wireless' option. It located the printer connected to the modem.
