macOS 10.13 High Sierra

I recently purchased a new wireless router. Everything I have works much better except my hp printer which I cannot get to hook up to it. I have been through all of the online help - chat - robot stuff to no avail. That keeps referring to the wireless setup wizard on the printer - which does not exist on a cp1525nw. I could sure use some help and would appreciate it.

thanks

Hi,

For the cp1525nw printer, a temporary USB cable is required to configure the printer on your wireless network.

Connect the printer with a USB to your Mac and confirm any prompt.

Open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and double-click the printer.

Click on Printer Settings, then open the Utility tab and click Open Utility.

Click Convert to Wireless within the HP Utility and follow the steps on screen to connect the printer to your wireless network.

Shlomil you're the greatest! Thanks for that prompt and accurate solution. Why couldn't HP do that?
