I didnt want but a couple of pages of an article, but the printer is printing the whole book, i cant get it to stop, i've unplugged, powered it off, and each time it comes back on, it picks right back up printing, its over 200 pages now.

You need to delete teh print job from the connected PC first. Otehrwise the printer will jsut resume printing from where it left off according to the print job on that PC.
Easiest way to do that is to reboot the connected PC you attempted to print the job from. The reboot will clear the local printer queue and stop the job from continuing.
