Hi all,

Looking for information on how to extend the HDX Table Mic. Have a customer that wants to locate the HDX in a Comms Room 30metres from the room where the Camera and Mic will be. Camera will reach on the standard 30m Polycom cable but how do we extend the table mic this distance?

Any info appreciated.

Please refer to 'Integrator’s Reference Manual for Polycom® HDX® Systems' -> 'Custom Cabling for Polycom HDX Microphones'. The maximum approved length to the first mic is 30 m/100 ft.

HP Recommended

Consider 3rd party mics like Revolabs.

are you looking to integrate with table mics or what??

It's a tender spec, so there is no room for using a DSP. We today cut a standard mic cable in the middle and extended it using cat5 shielded the desired length so we'll go with that. Thanks for the different suggestions though.

Cheers
