Hi,
I can’t seem to get a totally borderless print from my envy 5020 printer. I only have an iPhone to print from, and can choose a fit page or manual option but there is always a thin white border.
any advice please? Is there a setting I need to change to on my actual printer?

Which application are you using to print from your iPhone?

This printer supports borderless printing up to 8.5 x 11 in, 216 x 297 mm.

Thank you for replying Sandy,
On my phone you choose to print pic with hp printer, then screen options come up. One is to resize etc. ( and you can either choose fit to page or resize manually Which I do), but still there is a white border left.
I just print in an A4 sheet ( which is also the option I have to print on).

Update the printer firmware

Update the iOS
Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
Download and install HP smart app for borderless printing option:

I just tried the 8.5x11 option and it just looked very strange, so will just keep to the A4 printing I think.
There definitely wasn’t any option that had borderless next to it though.

This might require one on one interaction to fix the issue.
I request you to talk to HP support.
They might have multiple options to help you with this.
- Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
- Select the country.
- Enter the serial of your device.
- Select the country from the drop-down.
- Click on "Show Options".
- Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
