I can't make eprint web service work. I get the message:

Check the Internet connection and try again. Or contact your system administrator or the person who set up the printer.
If your network requires a proxy server address to connect to Internet, click Enter Proxy or check your browser settings.

I've tried setting IP and DNS manually (as it was advised in other posts) but it doesn't work. ePrint works well on my other printer - 3070a.

Hi @grigori,

Thank you for replying,

I would suggest here is to update the printer firmware If you are unsure,  now click on this link: http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/ps6520/PS6520_R1606A.exe and install the firmware.

If the issue persists, I would then suggest you to contact HP phone support to create a service for your printer. If the printer is out of warranty, you might be able to get some good upgrade options for the current printer.

HP Technical Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: http://h22207.www2.hp.com/us-en/?openCLC=true

(1) Once the support page opens please select the country in which you're located. Next, enter your HP model number on the right.

(2) Next, choose the 'Contact Support' tab at the top and scroll down to the bottom of the 'HP Support- Contact' page to fill out the form provided with your contact information.

(3) Once completed click the 'Show Options' icon on the bottom right.

(4) Lastly, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Get the phone number.' A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

If you have any troubles, let me know and I will do my best to help!

Hi @grigori,

Thanks for engaging in HP support Forums! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips! I understand you need assistance with the web services issue that you are facing.

We can assign a static IP address and a manual DNS address to fix this problem. Please follow the below steps and check:

  1. Obtain the IP address of the printer – You can touch the “wireless” icon on the printer control panel to obtain the IP address.
  2. Type the IP address on your web browser to obtain the printer EWS page on your computer.
  3. Go to the “Network” tab – Click on “Wireless (802.11) – Then click on “Network address (IPv4)
  4. Click on the radio button which says “Manual IP” and then click “Suggest a manual IP address” to give a manual IP address to your printer.
  5. Click on radio button which says “Manual DNS Server” and under manual preferred type 8.8.8.8 and under manual alternate type 8.8.4.4 (This is Google DNS server address)

Try restarting your printer and then try enabling web-services. This should fix the web services issue that you are facing.

Please try these steps & let me know if it helps!

Eagerly waiting for your response!

I hope you have a good day ahead,

And Feel free to ask your queries as this forum has some of the best people in the world available and ready to help.
