HP OfficeJet 200 Mobile
macOS 10.14 Mojave

I have an HP OfficeJet 200 Mobile printer with a fully working email address ( I can send an email to the printer and it prints perfectly). I have activated the Alexa skill "successfully" using my HP smart account credentials but when I try to print something using Alexa nothing happens. When the printer is off the HP Printer skill recognizes it and tells me so!. I have tried to deactivate and reactivate the skill but nothing changes. I have even tried to turn off the Web Services from the printer and turn them on with no results.

Any help is welcome 🙂

John

Hi @johnsidi

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you. Let us try these steps:

  1. Say, "Alexa, ask my printer to print a Help page" to make sure the service is working correctly.

    • If the page prints, review the available content and supported voice commands, and then try to print the content again.

    • If the page does not print, continue troubleshooting.

  2. Open the Alexa app, tap the app Menu icon , and then select Activity.

  3. Find the card for any recent HP Printer Skill request, and then locate the printer model on the card.

  4. Confirm that the printer model on the card matches the printer model you are using.

    • If the printer models match, wait a few hours, and then try printing again.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
