I am trying to setup my Laserjet P1102w to use the wireless funtion. This printer does not have an on-board control panel so it needs to be setup using the mac software. When I click on the "HTML Config..." button the setup on the mac just goes to the previous screen so I cannot enter any of the network info. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Good Day. Thank you for posting your query in the HP community. I read the post regarding issues with setting up the printer to a wireless network. I will be delighted to assist you here.
Superb description and spectacular troubleshooting and commendable diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that. 🙂
To assist you with accurate information I would require more information regarding this:
- Did a software or OS update cause the connection to be lost?
For now, try these steps:
- Reset the mac printing system first from this link: http://hp.care/2gOrf2g
- Then follow all the relevant steps from this link: http://hp.care/2wWkijc for setting up the printer to a wireless network running Mac OS. (HP LaserJet Pro P1102w, P1109w - Wireless Printer Setup)
- For further assistance, please check the printer’s software technical reference guide: http://hp.care/2CPLNSN and visit pages 238-45 on how to setup the printer on a wireless network using MAC.
This should fix the issue.Keep me posted.
Please perform all these steps patiently as it is critical to resolving the issue. The trick is to remain patient.
Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes. To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles.
