HP support says "turn off e-print and turn back on to obtaion clain code" I cannot turn off e-print! When I try  I get an error message saying "the printer was unable to connect to server" "You can connect the printer to a proxy-server thru the internet""to do so enter proxy server and enter details when proMpted" MY QUESTION: WHAT PROXY SERVER? Where do I find this so called proxy server. I cannot turn off e-print without the mysterious proxy server. No One at HP Support Knows, they want to come on my computer. HOW WILL THAT HELP, IF I HAVE TO ENTER IT IN THRU THE PRINTER? I'm not letting anyone remote my computer! I've done it before and all they do is look around where they don't belong, then tell me "I have a friend that can fix it for $200.00" BS! I just want to know how to get the claim code so I can use e-print. This can't be such a mystery that issue someone cannot tell me over the phone, or in an e-mail, as to how I can retrieve the claim code. OR, where I can find this mysterious Proxy Server to turn off e-print so I can turn it back on the retrieve the claim code.  *** PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME LINKS TO WHERE THE SO-CALLED ANSWER LIES, IT'S NOT THERE, I'VE ALREADY SPENT DAYS LOOKING, JUST GIVE ME THE ANSWERS TO MY QUESTION ***

WHAT PROXY SERVER? Where do I find this so-called proxy server!

Hi,

First download and install the latest firmware below, then check for any difference:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/oj6500/OJ6500_E710n-z_R1621A.exe

Once the latest firmware was installed check for any difference once accessing the HP ePrint menu.

If the same error persists, tap the right arrow and press on Setup, then tab Web Services Setup.

Tap Remove Web Services and follow the steps to diable web services.

Next enter the Web Services menu again and follow the steps on screen to re-enable the service and check for any difference.
