HP Officejet Pro 8720
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just purchased a new HP Officejet Pro 8720 and installed it on my Lenovo desktop computer and Toshiba laptop computer as well, using the web downoad option for installation programs.  Both computers are using Windows 10 64 bit.

On the desktop computer, the printer seems to have installed fully as a multi-function machine, while on my laptop it installed an "app" (HP AiO Remote) which only allows me to print, so far.

I can go to the printer and scan a document to the desktop from the screen of the printer, by chosing "scan to > computer" but this screen isn't showing my laptop.  To scan to the laptop, I have to open the HP AiO Remote App, where it is telling me to download yet another app.

My previous printer (HP Officejet Pro 8620) used to see both computers on the "scan to > computer" screen so I could choose whichever one the scan is going to.

Should I install the printer software to my laptop from the disk that came with the printer?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Thank you.
