Connection issue

I've tried multiple times and I can't connect my HP ENVY 6455e printer to my Samsung device

You're trying to connect your HP ENVY 6455e printer to your Samsung device, but it won’t go through. Let’s troubleshoot step by step:

On your Samsung device, download HP App from the Google Play Store.

This app is required for setup and wireless printing.

Connect the printer with the Wireless Setup Wizard

Place the printer near the Wi-Fi router.

Open the Setup, Network, or Wireless settings menu, and then select Wireless Setup Wizard.

Select the name of your network, and then enter the password to complete the connection.

Note:

If the Wireless Setup Wizard is not listed, select Wi-Fi Protected Setup or WPS, select Push Button, and then follow the steps to connect to the network.

Once the printer is connected to the network, you can add the printer to the HP app. For more information, go to HP printer setup (HP app).

Open HP Smart & Tap Add Printer.

If the printer doesn’t show up, tap Set up a new printer and follow the guided steps.

On Samsung, ensure HP Smart has permission for Location and Wi‑Fi. Without these, the app can’t detect printers.

If network setup fails, use Wi‑Fi Direct:

Wi-Fi Direct is a method to temporarily connect your device directly to your printer.

Set up a Wi-Fi Direct connection to quickly and easily access your printer from your mobile device or computer.
