I see my printer listed on my mobile device but I cannot select it. It's grayed out.

Hp Smart works with Android version 9.0

 

HP printer setup (HP Smart app) | HP® Support

 

The HP Smart app is the recommended printing software for your printer and includes standard and advanced features and settings. The features and settings vary by printer model and country/region.

HP Smart app requirements:

  • An HP printer (HP Smart Advance requires an HP+ or eligible printer)

  • An HP Smart account

  • A computer or mobile device with:

    • Windows 10 Redstone 5 (version 1809) or later

    • macOS Big Sur (11.0) or later

    • Android Pie (9.0) or later

    • Apple iOS, iPadOS 15 or later
