Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My printer was operating well, but now in trying to use it  again this message appeared; "Impresora sin conexión" (printer not connected).  My printer is wireless and the bluei light is on.  I tried to fix it through HP support, but no luck..

Hi @Rodolfo35

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you

 I would like to know, is your router set to work on 2.4 GHz network or 5 GHz network band?

 Are you using a HP Deskjet 2540?

If yes, try the below steps-

Make sure your computer and printer are connected to your home network

  1. Right-click the lower left corner of the computer screen, and then click Desktop.

  2. Click the Wireless icon in the notification area of your computer, near the clock.

    • If the wireless network shown is yours, write it down so you can use it in the next step.

    • If the wireless network shown is not yours (for instance, if you are connected to another local network), connect to your own network before you continue.

  3. To make sure the printer is connected to the wireless network, print a Network Configuration Page to check the wireless connection status.

Press the Wireless button and the Start Copy Black button from the printer control panel at the same time.

Let's try and uninstall the printer software from the root level on your PC and install the full feature printer software.

--->In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.

--->Select your HP printer.

--->Select Uninstall.

--->In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.

--->In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”

--->Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.

--->Type printui.exe /s and click OK.

--->Click on the Drivers tab.

--->Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click remove at the bottom.

--->Select OK.

--->Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.

--->Close Devices and Printers.

And then reinstall the printer full-featured drivers from software and drivers page

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
