I am not able to connect printer through wi-fi direct because when I enter default password i.e. 12345678, it shows that password is not correct. Pls guide 🙏🏻

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

Have you changed the wifi-direct password on the printer?

If not, make sure you are trying to connect using the right wifi-direct network.

12345678 is the default password on all the HP printers.

 

Press the wireless button and the 'i' button together to print a wireless report to check the wifi-direct password and network name.

 

Kindly refer to this document to know how to print from your phone via wifi-direct.

 

Use the HP Smart app to print from your phone.

Click here to download the same.
