Hi, is it possible to print double sided direct from Photos on iPad/iphone? It always comes up as an option when printing files, so at the moment, if I want to print two screenshots back to back, I have to create a document and add the photos to it before printing. I’d love to just select the photos and print, but without having to do it single sided.

Hi @Mabdev

It looks like printing double-sided directly from the Photos app on iOS isn't always straightforward. While the option appears for certain file types, it may not be fully supported for images.

Possible Workarounds:

  1. Use the HP Smart App – Some users have found success printing double-sided through the HP Smart App, which offers more control over print settings.
  2. Convert Photos to a PDF – You can use the Files app or a third-party app to combine images into a PDF, then print double-sided.
  3. Check Printer Settings – If your printer supports duplex printing, ensure it's enabled in the print settings before sending the job.
